Das steps-Büro in Hamburg wird für zwei Monate tatkräftig von der neuen Praktikantin Sanya Bischoff unterstützt. Die Studentin von der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg befindet sich im 3. Semester, Hauptfach Studium Individuale mit den Schwerpunkten Politik- und Kulturwissenschaften.
Über ihre Motivation für das Praktikum bei steps sagt Sanya: „Ich möchte die Semesterferien nutzen, um praktische Erfahrungen im Gemeinnützigkeitssektor zu sammeln und die Arbeit einer NGO kennen zu lernen. Da ich mir vorstellen kann, später in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit tätig zu sein, bin ich auf die Stiftung steps for children gestoßen. Die bewusste Wahl dieser Stiftung ist auf dem Konzept der ‚Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe‘ begründet, da ich ein hohes Potenzial in der Nachhaltigkeit der Projekte in Namibia sehe.
Ich freue mich, durch mein Praktikum mehr über die Stiftung steps for children zu lernen und vor allem zu unterstützen.“
